Our History
Since 2017, HOF-Automation has grown alongside the requirements and projects of its customers.
2017
On August 1, 2017, Oliver Hof founded HOF-Automation in Freudenberg, in Germany’s Siegerland region.
From its first location near the historic town center, the company served customers from several countries and delivered international projects.
2019
As demand and project volumes grew, the team expanded.
This brought additional expertise and helped the company deliver more customer projects reliably.
2020
As the business grew, HOF-Automation relocated to Wenden-Altenhof in 2020.
The larger premises have since provided more space for project planning, consulting, electrical engineering, and custom control panel manufacturing.
2022
With the successful completion of its first major project in the United States, HOF-Automation reached an important milestone in its international business.
The project demonstrated the company’s technical capabilities and growing experience in the North American market.
2024
UL certification marked another important step in the development of HOF-Automation’s control panel business for North America.
At the same time, the company invested in modern manufacturing technology to further optimize control panel production and strengthen quality.
2025
By introducing EPLAN Pro Panel and Wiring, HOF-Automation continued to develop its digital engineering and manufacturing processes.
The team also expanded further, adding expertise for demanding customer projects.
